Die Punk follows the life, come-up and success of Atlanta rapper and modern punk icon, Playboi Carti. Real name Jordan Carter, Carti debuted during the 2016 Soundcloud era of rap with a repetitive and catchy flow like contemporaries Lil Uzi Vert and Young Thug, gaining recognition in the mid-2010s as an affiliate of the A$AP Mob. Now having ascended beyond Soundcloud, Carti would reach a new pinnacle in his career with the late 2020 release of his enigmatic, genre-bending second studio album, Whole Lotta Red.
